City of Franklin street work along Elk got back underway this week with Franklin based IA Construction re-doing the intersection with 12th Street behind the courthouse. According to their website IA began nearly 100 years ago when it patented a "cold-mix, cold-laid bituminous concrete material which made a significant contribution to early road building." Today you can see their vehicles all around the region constructing roadways.
