That's exactly how it seemed in the first quarter of Franklin's senior night game where the combined total of points scored was seven. Lay ups failed, three pointers failed, most free throws rattled out. It was a mess. The second quarter wasn't much better but at the half they combined for 25 points with Franklin jumping to a seven point lead.
They doubled their first half out put plus one in the second half scoring 51 points to end at 39-37. Franklin came out hot increasing their lead by double digits and looked to be sailing until a gritty Oilers squad hunkered down much like they did a month ago against Meadville and mounted a come back chipping and chipping away until the final buzzer left them just two points or one gremlin swat away from a tie.
