I wonder who is getting the ball

According to Venango football guru Penny Weichel on twitter, who got the stat from the radio, Ethen Knox had 50 carries for 429 yards. As in weeks past, the official number will be decided upon somehow. Whether its The Derrick's Ryan Kunselman's numbers (he walks the sidelines with his nose buried in his note pad between plays) or a combination of sources. In the end it is likely Knox has unprecedentedly achieved his sixth 400-yard game of the season and put him very close to 3,000 yards on the season.

Photographers try to capture many aspects of the game, but it's hard covering Oil City to focus on much more than this historic run(pun intended) of this quality player.

A guy standing at the fence near the end-zone watching the game drove down from near Buffalo just to see Knox play. He said "anyone mentioned in the same breath as Derrick Henry is worth driving to see." He wasn't a scout, he was just a football fan who heard about Knox's season and felt he had to witness it for himself.

By several accounts, and the dude from Buffalo also noted this, Knox is no slouch in the classroom and appears to be a very good kid. But one thing is for sure, he is carrying the Oil City Oilers on his strong legs with more carries than most would conceive possible. He gets tackled a lot and pops back up. Even a helmet to helmet hit that made the photographer cringe was just a quick moment and back in the huddle. Then the next play it was six more points.

But he, though he does understand he is having one heck of a season, will thank a group of people for his success.

the competition level for Knox vs Henry isn't comparable. look up the size school that Henry played against. one of them has over 3,000 students enrolled. please stop
