At half it was 33-22. Franklin didn't appear to be sharp, but they were just more in control and consistent. Johnathan Leccia was a force interrupting layups, collecting rebounds and in the second half scored 11 of his overall 15 points.
Coach Jason Fulmer's Knights bested his younger brother, Bundy Fulmer's Oilers in this years rivaly games and won the region outright before tonight's game even started, but the packed House of Hustle showed that didn't matter - this was Oil City vs. Franklin and that alone is a reason to battle.
Franklin finished the season undefeated in Region 6 and 18-4 overall. Oil City dropped to 7-3 in the region losing twice to Franklin and a Cam Van Wormer - less loss to Warren. He was their high scorer tonight with a 11 points. They finished 17-5 overall.
Franklin's Jalen Wood finished with 12 points and Oil City's Connor Highfield end with 10 points.
