Finch + Flourish Paper Goods

Silver Lake, Los Angeles
Jess, the illustrator and designer behind Finch + Flourish Paper Goods, first started this little stationery co. in her Pittsburgh apartment back in 2019, and with the help and support of a wonderful community of customers, makers, and friends this creative outlet/side hustle has since grown into a full-time grown up brand specializing in greeting cards, custom stationery, and illustration.

In 2022 they added a beautiful 1913 antique press to the family and started rolling out our first letterpress cards. 2023 began with their biggest change yet as we said goodbye to our dear Strip District studio and the community that helped them grow, and headed west for sunny Silver Lake, Los Angeles and new snail mail adventures.

Jae Austen Art

Venango County
Inspired by the native flora and fauna of Venango County, Austen began her business in the summer of 2024. She is a multimedia artist who dabbles in all kinds of art crafts, constantly planning and creating. These include but aren't limited to crafts like painting, sewing, printmaking, sculpting, and weaving.

Austen wants her art to encourage people to fully appreciate the nature that surrounds them in our city, trails, and parks. The aim is for that appreciation to lead to conservation, and a desire to protect what makes this area special.

She has an ever-present drive to create art in many forms, and wants to use that
in a productive way that will leave a lasting impact.

klt:works

Mount Vernon, WA
Kristin Loffer Theiss started a working studio in the Pacific Northwest called klt:works in 2005. She’s been making and designing products for the modern home & family under the klt:works label ever since. The klt:works studio has expanded over the last few years, including various forms of printmaking and surface design as the primary focus in the products offered. Kristin’s love of textiles, screen printing, & mid-century design has influenced her new line of printed goods. Both she & her husband are currently combining their interests and skill by working on a collaborative line of porcelain & textiles. Additionally, they are continuously offering a variety of workshops and classes in their small retail studio + shop in downtown Mount Vernon, WA.

Kristin & her husband, Chris, both hold MFAs in Fine Art and met in 1996, teaching at the local college (Skagit Valley College) where they remain adjunct faculty- Kristin occasionally teaching drawing or painting & Chris maintaining a continuously full schedule of ceramics, 3-D design, drawing, gallery, & into to art. They have a child named Sayer, who is a young artist & musician in his own right along with being the business “tech” consultant (he made & maintains this website). KLT:works is a lifestyle brand and all three creatives have their part in the success and unique vision of the business. A day in a life around their house includes laughter, dancing, listening to music, and making. Everything you see with a klt:works label is made by hands – with attention to detail & lots of heart.
