The list of candidates for Venango County commissioner is growing, but one name will be absent - current commissioner Mike Dulaney. He announced this week that he will not seek re-election.
Among those planning to have their name on the primary ballot are
Albert "Chip" Abramovic
Mathew Beith
Sam Breene
Jim Speth. Click on the name to read their full announcements.

We also heard from Ken Bryan who plans to run. We're confirming an item before we post his letter.

Betty Morrison now carries the designation of Rocky Grove High School basketball's "most loyal fan." On Friday night during halftime of the boys game versus Farrell, Morrison was suprised with a plaque of appreciation for "50 plus years" of attending games at The Nest.
Cranberry wrestler Elijah Brosius was recognized during a brief ceremony prior to the school's match with Redbank Valley Tuesday. Coaches Andrew Brosius, Mike Crocker, Darren Wenner and Dustin Wenner presented him with a banner to commemorate his District 9 champion season.
