In one of the best games of the season to watch, Oil City came from behind to send the game into overtime against the Meadville Bulldogs in the District 10 Class 4A semi-final. Their effort behind the monster game by Dawan Cruz on offense and an overall solid defense, showed patience and opportunity. With the time clock seeming like it was going twice its normal speed, the Oilers had to put something special together in a short amount of time. And they did marching right down the field to score and then convert the two-point conversion to tie. Overtime rules give team a try to score from ten-yards out. Meadville got the ball first and punched it in for a touchdown and an extra point. Oil City failed in four attempts losing 27-20. The loss ends Oil City's year at 5-6. Meadville moves on to face the number one seed General McLane Friday at Fort LeBouef High School.
