Games set - three locations, one time - uggh

The rumblings this morning centered around why the three Venango County Teams have to play at the same time in three different place? It makes it hard for families and fans who now have to pick which game they decide to go watch.

Well the answer is the other teams also face potentially similar issues. The three Venango County teams are all within a 12 mile radius and they all are in the championship game.

On paper it appears Franklin is the only real shot at winning the championship, but, as we know, the game is not decided on paper.

Rocky Grove will travel to Slippery Rock to face a state champion caliber Kennedy Catholic. Kennedy handled the Orioles in both their previous  encounters.

Franklin seems unstoppable and they will take on underdog Seneca in Meadville.

​Oil City is the interesting game. Fairview only lost once in the region this year and it was to the Oilers in a slowdown methodical low scoring game. But then got trounced in the their next meeting. So which game will we see when they face off against each other in Erie at the Haggerty Events Center.

All games will be a 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
