Cranberry repeated as St. Patrick's Parish Tournament champions. This year they had to fight back from the loser's bracket in the double elimination tournament. The Fighting Berries lost in the semi-finals to Oil City and had to battle Cochranton to get a rematch with the Oiler's. In the first rematch game they dominated and continued that momentum to win the "if necessary" game and the championship trophy.
Organizer Paula Klinger noted the 38th annual St. Pat's tournament is now a Parish tournament and not a school hosted tournament. The money raised will go into the Parish's athletic programs and upkeep of the gymnasium and equipment as a community resource.

"Oh my gosh, it was full here yesterday," Klinger said of the crowd who came to support the fifth- and sixth- grade ballers.
Cochranton finished third losing to Cranberry in the loser's bracket final.
