Franklin's Logan Knight broke the school record last year in the shot put. Impressive, especially as a junior. Tuesday he topped his own record by two feet throwing the 12 pound steel ball 59'4" at Titusville. His coach Jason Peterson said he has been throwing over 60 indoors and has his sights set on throwing it 62 to 65 feet by the time districts come around.
He also threw the discus beyond the Titusville discus field bouncing his disc off the cart path beyond.
