| We will be staying open late and the shop will be hopping for the Franklin Retail Association's annual Witch Walk on October. The gallery and shop will open at noon for our regular Saturday schedule. Witch Walk officially kicks off at 4 p.m. and continues through 7 p.m. Along with hosting a stop for ticket-holding attendees, we plan to hold book readings and a special art opening (artist to be announced soon) - both of which are free and open to all. Hollow Oak Press will be here with copies of their latest novel "The Ordinary Magic in Extraordinary Tales" and their first endeavor "The Wordsmiths". The latter of which we reviewed in the most recent Eight & 322 Art Magazine. They will read short stories the books at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. For those interested in all the Witch Walk stops and incentives, can purchase a ticket for $30. It comes with a goodie bag with coupons for special drinks, treats, a tarot card reading and entrance to the Witch's Ball at the evening's end. This year local makeup artist extraordinaire Kaleb Lewis will create a special Franklin Witch. |
This friendly Halloween event is a light and joyful fundraising event where proceeds go to the Franklin Retail & Business Association, which provides support to downtown Franklin stores, businesses, restaurants and the theatre through membership, networking, cross promotion, cooperative advertising, & to simply be a helping hand.
