The other day I stopped to make sunset photos. I even posted one as the featured photo of the day. I shot it wide and concentrated on the reflection from puddles as my main composition devise. I also slapped on a long lens to try to capture the fog and a little of the sunset. It was pretty dark and I was relying on my know-how in exposing for the sky and blah blah blah photo jargon stuff. My eyesight isn't keen as many know. My 1970 coke bottle bottom thick glasses prove I am not exactly seeing most things everyone else does.
When I called up this photograph on my computer and saw the deer in the road, I laughed out loud. I totally missed this when I was making the image, in fact I disregarded it for a couple days and didn't even take it off my camera until I needed another photo from another assignment.
The phrase even a blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut immediately came to mind.
Anyway, I didn't hit this one with my car later on... which, if you've read my blogs before you'd know that in of itself was a a fete for me!
