Franklin held its look back on tradition Saturday with the city's retail association's Old Fashion Christmas. Though not every kid was excited to see Santa, many families were excited to get downtown to shop and take advantage of the small town holiday flair.
| Folks have been walking through the trees in Fountain Park decorated for the holidays. Barr's Insurance was replenishing their tree "ornaments" Saturday. Barr's has taken on the "Giving Tree" model with the theme of keeping people warm during the holiday. The insurance company tree is stocked with hot cocoa, hand warmers and socks for people who need them to freely take. The true meaning of Christmas.
