She takes life seriously.... wait, maybe I should say, she takes living life seriously.
"My mom died when I was 22; my neighbor died May 25, 2015. I helped care for her; Kevin(her husband) died August 6, my ex husband died 19 days later, my aunt and grandma died the next spring, and my Granma died that fall .. then my daughter list her baby in December 2019. Life is freaking short."
Her month long challenge was only a small part of her adventure. She hopped on bicycle last fall after exclaiming "Applefest is over. What’s the worst that can happen? I’ll fall and break my leg?“ She admits this incident will stick in her mind for awhile for her and her friends who heard her say that and watched her recovery from a nasty fall that severely damaged her shoulder and arm.
"Adventure … until my freak accident, there was probably nothing I wouldn’t try. Even now, while I attempt to remain smart, I am still game to try it if I can envision it."
She isn't always just on the go, though that almost made me laugh as I typed that. Because in a lot of ways she really is ALWAYS ON THE GO! She believes in relaxing and often her choice is getting her feet wet.
"The water … where my soul finds answers, peace, and is refueled."
