"We had a bit over 250 people tonight at our National Night Out event. It was great fun. 220 hot dogs, 250 snow cones and 200 pieces of BBQ chicken." said Anne Bakker, who organized the event in conjunction with the United Way of Venango County.
National night out is designed to have several members of law enforcement and emergency responders available to meet and greet the neighborhood community. It is also a time for a fun block party to add to the feeling of a shared home or neighborhood.
