Anna Applegate posted a version of this beautiful photograph of a hummingbird earlier today and it immediately drew me in. This is a harmony of color and tones and very much like a beautiful Japanese print. The like of print that inspired impressionists and especially post-impressionists like Van Gogh and Gaugin.
