Featured photograph of the day Tyler Evans, 10, of Cub Scout Pack 17 in Oil City was one of the many volunteers who helped the American Legion Post 32 put out stick flags Monday night at Calvary Cemetery. Over 1,100 flags were posted at Calvary in preparation for Memorial Day. The legion is also responsible for placing over 7,000 flags at smaller cemeteries in the region. Tyler and his twin brother Zack have been helping with the flags for around five years. Helping put out flags is a tradition for Daisy Girl Scout Aubree Douglass, 7. "She's been putting flags out since she was old enough to hold one," her mother Miranda Douglass. Aubree and her mom were among the army volunteers helping with the task Monday evening at Calvary Cemetery.
