Split results as Rocky Grove, Titusville teams play back to back

Titusville took the girls game and Rocky Grove won the boys matchup Friday night in the Roy Sanner Tournament at the Nest. All four teams will be back in action today. The Rockets will play in the girls championship game against Oil City at 4 p.m. Saturday. Rocky Grove will play against Cranberry in the consolation game at 1 p.m. In the boys basketball bracket, Rocky Grove will face Cranberry in the title game at 5:30 p.m. and Titusville will meet Maplewood at 2:30 p.m. in the consolation matchup.

Holiday songs and shopping

The Early Childhood Learning Center gave its annual Holiday Sounds concert Friday afternoon, complete with a signing contest between the students and the audience. More pictures here. 

Meanwhile across town, the First Presbyterian Church hosted the Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce's Home for the Holidays vendor event.

Oil City Christmas Past Underway

​Oil City kicked off its 21st annual Christmas Past festival with music, Santa, and lighting the tree in Town Square. The evening also includes hot chocolate, "sleigh" rides and a toy drive. ​
