Sharing song and story Friends of the Franklin Civic Operetta Association, and Barrow-Civic Theatre, along with local Taste of Talent participants, and the Franklin High School Knighettes and Silks will combine their talents to present "A Barrow Christmas Card" this weekend. Done in the style much like a classic variety show, the original blend of traditional and modern holiday hits will include singing, dancing and skits. |
Used toy sale offers opportunity for everybody to win
The annual Everybody Wins Used Toy Sale and Giveaway is looking for donations and volunteers. Toys can be dropped off from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Galloway United Methodist Church. Volunteers can help that night or during the sale, which will run from 9 to 1 p.m. and 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The sale offers gently used toys for yard sale prices to rise money for a local charity.
