Please click on link to be taken to a collection of images I made in 2012 that I have picked as my favorites. Favorites don't mean 'best', though I've probably included my best as well. Some of these pictures may not seem like they'd belong in a year end best of slideshow, but that is ok...these meant something somehow to me and I hope the readers of our paper. Not all, though most we're published in the paper or on-line. The Tribune has had a long tradition of placing importance on photography. Though the newspaper business is going through some changes and we're trying to find new ways to communicate with a changing readership, we in the photo department are still striving to produce quality and solid storytelling images. Currently there are just two of us, Andrew Mahone is our full-time photographer and I am now the part-time photographer. Andrews's slideshow can also be found at the link below.
