The Grove's junior varsity tean ran over the visiting Jamestown Muskies in the first game of the boys games Saturday afternoon. Then the varsity managed to post their first win of the season in the second game. It's been a long season for the Orioles all around, but things came together finally this weekend for the boys.
On a personal note: I just enjoy the intensity of trying and the learning that comes from getting out there and working. When I was younger I learned a lot about defeat and that helped me appreciate victory all the more. I love photographing people trying in life and that's why I love going to high school games and watching and capturing the effort.
