In advance of Veterans Day, area schools will be holding breakfasts and programs for area veterans on November 10.
Rocky Grove High School will be hosting its annual Veterans Day breakfast program from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the cafeteria. Any veteran is welcome. Veterans should use the main door and will be escorted to the cafeteria. The day's agenda will include 8:30 a.m., veteran arrival; 8:35 a.m. welcome, Pledge of Allegiance
performances by the choir and senior high and; 9 a.m. breakfast.
Franklin Area School District students can invite veterans for a breakfast and assembly at the high school. in the Franklin Jr./Sr. High School auditorium. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. in the library. The assembly will be at 9:15 a.m. Veterans should sign up through this link provided by the school.
Cranberry High School will host a program beginning at 9:30 a.m. Veterans and the general public are invited to attend. Immediately following the program, there will be a free luncheon for veterans and their families.
