Franklin led most of the way in a bit of a sloppy affair against visiting Meadville. The Knights managed to hold on for a 59-53 win in a game where the referees' whistles seemed to almost drown out any cheers from the crowd. Franklin led 18-12 at the end of the first quarter but was only ahead by one, 29-28, at the half despite being up by nine at one point in the second. It was pretty much back and forth after that with a slow third quarter that saw both teams only managing to score a combined 21 points. The third ended in a tie at 39.
