Jones said it was a good day for the team, who got a chance to try out different lineups. They entered the tournament playoffs with a bye into the quarter-finals. There they defeated Karns City before losing a tough semi-final match to Lakeview, who they split sets with earlier in the day.
Rocky Grove got some valuable experience but only managed to win two games on the day, losing to Oil City in the playoffs. Oil City was even on the day, going 4-4 before beating Rocky Grove in the first round of the playoffs and losing to Keystone in the quarters.
