Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders are tall. They spread their defense out to cut down on the looks the sharp shooting Franklin Knights from the outside. BG put tall kids an short guards and it worked to keep the high scoring Knights under 50 points. It was a strategy that worked as Franklin began launch off-target bombs in the fourth that resulted in enough key misses that the Marauders capitalized on with a couple easy buckets and a solid performance at the free throw line.
Franklin's very solid year came to an end just shy of the state championship.
