In what looked almost like a carbon copy of their earlier match, Franklin came out swinging taking the first set, but in the second set fizzled. Then they couldn't get it back in the third set, but this time, unlike when they met at the beginning of the season, they couldn't muster a comeback in the fourth and ended up losing to the Oilesr 3 sets to 1. The match, which was their "Pink" match for breast cancer awareness month, had some fun moments with a break in the middle for some giveaways and a chance to raise a little more money for the Kirtland Cancer Foundation with a skills serving contest that invited participants from the crowd to participate. This year the two evenly matched teams split the series but added some much needed funds to a good cause. |
