Franklin girls volleyball team ran up against a buzzsaw Monday night in Cochranton as they faced Harbor Creek in the opening round of the District 10 tournament. Harbor Creek stayed out in front of the Knights for the most part and took the match in straight sets. About a half hour away, the boys soccer team met Grove City on the Titusville Rocket turf in their opening round match. The Knights fell behind but rallied to go up 2-1. Grove City kept the pressure on eventually getting two past the Knight's goalie who had a pretty solid night in net stopping several tough shots. Franklin's focus turns to it's cross country teams with a few very solid chances of individuals qualifying for states. They will hit the cross country course in Titusville early Saturday morning.
