Rocky Grove continues along its way to region match-up at the end of the week with first place on the line when they finally get a crack at the team they are tied with at the top of the region, West Middlesex.
Rocky Grove invited Farreell into their house to share senior night where they also acknowledged Farrell's seniors. They then took it to their visitors winning 25-22, 25-13 and 25-18. Courtney Clark had a stellar night with 18 its, 7 aces, 5 blocks and 20 assists. Abby Williams and Rylee Reed each had 13 points and Devin Roads added 12 points. Another solid effort for the Orioles.
Rocky Grove is undefeated along with Middlesex in the region and they finally get to play a make-up that was previously postponed. They travel to Mercer County on Friday and then play them again the following week at home. Two of the most important games this season, in school history actually, as the Orioles can smell the region crown.
RG hosts a strong Lakeview squad Thursday as a tune up at home. That match is non-region. It is their Dig Pink game for Breast Cancer Awareness month. It'll be a good test since Lakeview is 11-1 overall and 9-0 in a region with perennial powerhouse Maplewood.
