We finally got to a couple of Franklin soccer matches this week. The Franklin girls appear to be struggling. The results recorded on Max Preps show they haven't won yet through four games.
The boys were 1-1-1 going into Thursday's match against Eisenhower. They were dominating Ike at home controlling the ball on both offense and defense. They are set to play Oil City on Monday. The Oilers are 2-1 having lost to Eisenhower 1-0 in the first game. They beat Titusville in a slightly controversial overtime corner kick and they took down Iroquois 1-0. Franklin tied Grove City to start the season. Nate Pfennigwerth suffered a concussion in that game but was back against Eisenhower and scored two first half goals. The Knights defeated Warren 4-1 and lost to Seneca 2-0
