Weekly THS Sports Roundup As of January 4, 2023 Boys Basketball Record: 6-3 The Class AAA Titusville boys basketball didn't play in any holiday tournaments last week but they did host Cochranton on Dec. 28 in a non-region game defeating the Cardinals 61-55. The Rockets were scheduled to play the General McLane Lancers Wednesday (after deadline). Their upcoming schedule includes:
Girls Basketball Record: 2-6 Region 3 (3A) record: 1-1 On Dec. 15, the girls picked up their first region win over Iroquois 35-30. They did not play over the holidays but returned to action Tuesday against Sharon dropping a 47-9 decision to the visiting Lady Tigers. ., see story on page? Or left/right. The girls were also scheduled to play Jan. 5 against Northwestern (after deadline). Their upcoming schedule includes:
Boys Swimming Record: 1-2 The Titusville boys last swam against Warren, defeating them 83-63 on Dec. 21 at home. The boys were also scheduled to swim Jan. 5 against Mercyhurst Prep (after deadline). Their upcoming schedule includes:
Girls Swimming Record: 3-0 The Titusville girls last swam against Warren, defeating them 102-84 on Dec. 21 at home. The girls were also scheduled to swim Jan. 5 against Mercyhurst Prep (after deadline). Their upcoming schedule includes:
Wrestling Record: 6-2 Region 3 record: 2-1 The Titusville wrestling squad last competed on Dec. 22 when they defeated Eisenhower on the road. Trenton Rodgers (133), Nate Stearns (139), Gavin Donaldson (145), Landen Wolfkiel (152) and Brock Covell (172) all recorded pins. Their upcoming schedule includes:
